Free Education Seminar Discussing Depression in Children, Adolescents, and Adults

McAllen, TX—The Community Health Education Series (CHES) at Doctors Hospital at Renaissance is a free educational program for patients, families and caregivers looking to receive more information on health awareness topics.

Dr. Ovidiu Dulgheru will be the guest speaker for a seminar titled “Mental Health Awareness,” which will cover the treatment options available for depression in children, adolescents, and adults. The free seminar will take place on Wednesday, July 7, 2010 at 6:00 PM at the Renaissance Behavioral Center Activity Room, located at 5510 Raphael Drive. The Renaissance Behavioral Center is located behind The Women’s Hospital at Renaissance.

“Our ongoing education series is free to the public and highlights a one-to-one question and answer session by the physician,” states Marissa Castañeda, DHR Chief Operations Officer. Castañeda continues, “The mission of the series is to inform and empower the community by providing indispensable, healthcare information and support from our local physicians.”
